MIND UR HEAD, founded in 2019, is a queer dance platform + party co-produced by fraserfab & pierre. Offering bold & experimental queer dance artists a platform to share their work as disruptions within a queer club night environment, our party is for the LGBTQIA+ community of London, particularly people with a love for movement or dance (as a professional or socially).

MIND UR HEAD’s first home was at south london DIY space The Chateau. We have since taken the night to Space 289 (Bethnal Green) and most recently The Yard Theatre, where we are Artists in Residence.

Our night offers artists who identify around and outside the gender binary a space to express themselves and their art completely on their own terms. Previous invited artists include; Sakeema Crook, Zinzi Marsh, Black Venus, Owen Ridley DeMonick & Malik Nashad Sharpe among many others. 

In three years and over 11 events, we have cultivated an incredibly loyal audience– a community of dancers, queer nightlife creatives, ballroom community members & recent graduates– who support the platform & have shaped what it has become.
